Salary: Depending on experience

A confident individual is required to assist our digital department in our Witham-based publishing company. The successful candidate will work across numerous social media channels and assist the editorial department with online website content, for an expanding portfolio of magazines.

Job description:

  • Help manage the company’s social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and other relevant platforms.

  • Engage in social media presence on new and emerging social media platforms.

  • Create dynamic written and graphic content.

  • Create content that increases audience presence on company sites and encourages audience participation.

  • Assist social media manager with large projects.

  • Work as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns.

  • Analyse and report audience information, demographics and success of existing social media projects.

  • Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content.

  • Work with marketing and social media team members to coordinate ad campaigns.

  • Uses timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analysing, managing and altering schedules where necessary to optimise visits.

  • Assist editorial with online website content.

  • Work closely with the management team in a professional manner.

Ideal candidate:

  • Creative writing ability.

  • Good IT skills.

  • Attention to detail

  • Communication skills.

  • Ability to work well under pressure.

  • A flexible adaptable approach.

  • Commitment to the aims and objectives of the business.

  • Understanding of all relevant platforms – such as Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and blogs

We have a number of vacancies for positive, bright and creative individuals to join our sales team to sell Event space at a number of Wedding Shows around the Country. 

Basic salary £18k-£20k for a full time employee depending on proven experience. OTE around £30k
Location; Witham, Essex
Hours (if full time): 37.5 hours - 9.00 - 5.30 (one hour lunch)

Requirements
Ideally, the candidate will have a minimum of one year Event experience (although not essential), a proven track record of achievement and an enthusiastic approach.

We are flexible and can accept candidates for part time or full time hours.

You will be given full training and good sales people will soon reach On Target Earnings of £30k+.

This is not a call centre style sales environment and there will be an occasional requirement to visit some Wedding Shows.
