Is it love? I think so! Vintage glamour meets Alice in Wonderland is such a huge trend this season, and for fairytale dresses with a charming twist I adore the brand new Bride collection by one of my all-time favourite designers Suzannah. This Baby Love gown is an inspired bridal alternative to her signature structured cocktail dresses, already a hit with the likes of Jasmine Guinness and Sophie Ellis Bextor. The collection comprises a selection of gowns, all carefully designed and created using the finest French and Italian silks and lace, as well as a range of authentic vintage pieces from the 1920s through to the '70s.
Prices start from £650, for more information or to buy online, visit www.suzannah.com |

Q - In six months time I will be a newlywed and my friends and family have been asking for wedding gift ideas. As my fiancé and I have been living together for a few years we already have all our household items so we are unsure as to what to ask for. Do you have any interesting suggestions?
A -Jasmin says You are not alone in this scenario; it is really difficult to offer gift ideas to your loved ones when you have already set up your home, but have you thought about the bigger picture? Do you have something special that they could contribute towards? It's a great time to ask for something you have both always wanted, such as a dream holiday or money towards your honeymoon. Whatever you choose, make sure your gifts are memorable. |

| A fresh start |

With the wedding season firmly upon us, here at County Wedding Magazines we have been busy inside and outside of the office. Many of us have been attending wedding fairs and the big days of our nearest and dearest as well as planning for upcoming features.
In this issue, we look at how to make your big day stand out from all the rest, why not experiment with creative catering ideas? Our catering feature looks at what options the county has to offer. A word of warning though, it will make you hungry! Creating a style statement is another way to keep you ahead of the crowds so check out our floral fashion feature for some inspiration that will make you the belle of your very own ball.
I'd also like to welcome our new features editor Francesca Lee to the team. Francesca is brimming with lots of fantastic and creative ideas for future issues.
Happy planning,

Ensure your wedding party is one guests will remember with these creative ideas
1 - Celebrate your surroundings Choosing a theme or colour scheme for the day can often make the planning process a whole lot easier - not to mention it allows you to experiment with quirky details for fun photographs and personal touches that your guests will love. If nothing springs to mind, allow your surroundings to inspire you. If you are tying the knot in a barn for example, opt for country bumpkin details such as hay bales, gingham bunting and Wellington boots filled with wild flowers. Hoping to celebrate al fresco? Try a floral theme with vintage crockery and bucket loads of summer blooms.
