| Our big day: Kate & Chris |
| |
 |
| |
Kate Beddis and Chris Wilson's wedding on Friday 7th August, 2009 was a glorious summer day to remember.
Kate and Chris met one evening back in December, 2004 in a bar in Sutton Coldfield. Completely convinced that it was love at first sight - and that his dance moves had won over his future wife - Chris got chatting to Kate. "Apparently he had pointed me out to his friends before we had even spoken," recalls Kate. "Then a few days later we went on our first date and haven't looked back since. I knew I had met someone really special and it wasn't long after that I felt he could be 'the one'; we have lots in common and always have a great time together".
The flowers were a really important part of the day for us. My bridesmaids and I all carried hand-tied bouquets of ivory roses mixed with green foliage, while Chris and the groomsmen wore buttonholes made from foliage and berries with delicate black beading. We used beautiful ivory hydrangeas to decorate the archway that our ceremony took place under, and for the table centrepieces.
For more information and pictures of Kate and Chris' big day, see pages 66-70 of the current issue. |

Elsewhere in this issue, features editor Danielle Wilkins takes a look at ideas for unforgettable hen parties, so if you're looking for something other than the usual night out, turn to page 37.
