Sharing our day
Q - We have family members abroad that can't attend our wedding. What we can do so that they can share our big day?
A - Charlene says: I'm sure that having to miss out on your big day is hard for them, and they'll be eagerly anticipating copies of your photos. But why not go one step further and send a professional wedding film? Wedding DVDs are great for capturing the magic and emotion of the day and a videographer will be able to create a film that's the perfect reflection of your wedding and personalities.
Professional companies will be able to create anything from short highlights to a full feature film, and some can even put these online to make it even easier to share with family and friends.
Alternatively you could post a DVD as a lovely gift for the family members unable to attend. You could have the best man read out messages from them so that they are a part of the celebrations, or maybe get them to record video messages. Seeing and hearing them I will make the message feel that extra bit special. |

Stockport Town Hall
A building of timeless elegance which marked it's centenary in 2008, Stockport Town Hall is affectionately know in the area as 'the wedding cake' due to its white facade and its beautifully designed tiered clock tower crowning the entrance to this Grade II listed building.
There are three areas that are licensed for ceremonies, including a magnificent double marble staircase and a historic Council Chamber. The marble staircase also provides a lovely opportunity for photographs or the welcome drinks reception area.

Delightful wedding stationery and accessory company Vintage Twee has launched a range of new collections that Your Manchester Wedding loves!
The vintage rose place settings have been created to add a truly elegant touch to your special occasion. The designs use beautiful images taken from vintage postcards and greeting cards from the 19th and early 20th century, and transformed into lovely name tags, perfect for tying on teacups, napkin rings or cutlery. The images have been embellished in true vintage style with a hint of gold glitter to accentuate the roses, and a selection of pearls and ribbon. Your guests name will be printed in an old typewriter font for that authentic vintage appeal. There are four designs available in this range and they are priced at £1.25.

Whether you want a complete image overhaul or just need to tone up, getting in shape and feeling healthy for your big day is essential. We've teamed up with the experts to give you a helping hand
Day to day Running, walking, gardening - it's all good. Regardless of what you do, regular exercise and physical activity is the path to health and well-being. Exercise burns fat, builds muscle, lowers cholesterol, eases stress and anxiety and allows us to have a restfull sleep. You can incorporate regular exercise into your day-to-day life, for instance:
- Forget the car for short journeys, walk or cycle instead
- If you catch a bus or a train, get off one stop early and walk the rest of the way
- Use the stairs instead of the lift or escalator
- Try a few gentle exercises while you watch TV
- Do your housework at a faster pace
Tip: Wear a pedometer to see how many steps you make in a day - why not try and increase it every week?
